The colour originates through a natural "stretching" of the crystal structure when the diamonds form; hundreds of millions, or billions of years ago.

Blue diamonds are one of the most rare colours. Blue diamonds are especially revered by collectors of coloured diamonds and act as a unique store of value.

Green diamonds

So few exceptional green diamonds are found that their rarity is hard to express. Colours range from daintily mint greens, through to the colours of the Caribbean seas.
